This past weekend T & I decided to get some plants and start our own mini-garden on our patio! Since we live in a condo we can not dig up our back yard, but we can have potted plants on our patio! So we got a tomato plant, a couple basil plants, a dill plant and some marigolds to put out back! YAY!
We have never really grown anything b/c we have always lived in an apartment, so we are very excited to see how this turns out! We are going to be getting a few more flowers for the front, a green pepper plant and some more herbs to fill up our planter! I can't wait until we can go out there and pick our own herbs and veggies - YUM!
Tomato, basil and mozzarella salads ALL summer! YAY :-)
B. and I have cherry tomato plants, regular tomato plants, jalapeno pepper plants and banana pepper plants sitting on our kitchen window sill waiting to be planted. They've been sitting there for over a week. At this point, I'm wondering if we are ever going to get them in the ground!
