Delicious & Educational!

I got a Kiwi Srawberry Snapple today (yum) and saw this fun “Real Fact” on the lid.

Did you know that Beavers can hold their breath for 45 minutes.

So my curiosity got to me and I went to their website and saw they have another other 672 “Real Facts” on their site!

I read through a few and they are way fun! Check them out!

This is most likely not new at all, but this is the first Snapple I have had in years so it is new to me!

  1. I love those Snapple facts. Last week, I was walking up the stairs to my room and I saw a Snapple cap just lying there. I wanted to read what it said, but I didn't want to touch it. Let me tell you, it is so hard to flip a cap with your foot.

Sadly, when I flipped it, it fell down a few flights. It was all for nothing.

  2. So a few fun ones I found:

-A snail breathes through its foot

-The lifespan of a taste bud is 10 days

-Googol is a number. (It is the #1 followed by 100 zeros)

-If there are 2 full moons in a month, the second is called a “blue” moon.

-Rinsing bacon under cold water before frying will help reduce how much it chrinks by 50%.

-Strawberries are the only fruit whose seeds grow on the outside.

-You burn 20 calories per hour chewing gum, 26 calories for a 1 minute kiss, and 10 calories licking a stamp!

SO……I am chewing gum the rest of the afternoon – 80, I have 3 envelopes to lick – 30, and when I get home I will kiss my husband for 5 minutes – 130 for a total of 240 and I would have burned off my Snapple and my piece of gum!! hehe

  5. Oh, and I didn't know that Dr. Who is on SciFi at 2:00pm on Fridays. But it is, and I'm watching it. Rose AND Martha, I believe.

  6. Watching Spongebob Squarepants with my daughter I learned that squids have 10 arms. I didn't know that. Knowledge comes down many avenues, my friends.
