Talk to me....

I am in the market for some fitness equipment. I am thinking an elliptical will be the best and the most beneficial. However, I don't want to spend a crazy amount (like over $800) but want something that is good.

I found this one at Walmart, click here, and it seems perfect but I can not find a single review on it anywhere?!?!?! I have also checked out Sears as well.

I am doing research but I thought I would ask to see if anyone had thoughts. Do you (have you) owned fitness equipment? Do you have a recommendation on what to get? Where to get it? Are elliptical's the way to go?

We don't want to go cheap but we want something usable. So any feedback would be great!!

  1. Dick's Sporting Goods has a big selection of them in every price range, and they guy there is SUPER knowledgeable about all of them. I really really believe that ellipticals are the way to go. They're so easy to use and are so easy on your body and joints. I have a super one that I just bought at a garage sale and I love it.

  2. I still vote for the tried-and-true treadmill.

  3. You know, I'm with the treadmill, too. Easy on the knees, you can walk on it... I'm a fan. Plus, you don't need all that space you'd need for a swinging-arm elliptical.

please do not shop at walmart. they do not pay their employees enough to live, do not offer healthcare to over half of their employees and hire illegal immigrants. i'm pretty sure saving 12 cents is not worth that.
