"Wordless" Wednesday – How Old Are You, Really?!

Wordless Wednesday - They May not be Words, But Someone has a lot to Say

Someone has been a major chatterbox lately.  I mean, look at that face.  That is the face of someone with plenty to say!

Between random words and noises and raspberries, this child loves to "talk" and is like his mom and cannot follow the laws of Wordless Wednesday....that's my boy.

Current List of "Words" he says, or really it should read current list of regular sounds he says as that is probably more appropriate!!

- Dada or more like dadadadadadadadadadadaada

- it-tee or at-tee for Kitty. EVERY time he sees a cat he gets excited, yells, and "says" this. :)

- I swear I heard him say YEN (of course I did). I put him in his crib and he kept yelling Yen, Yen. I came in and said hi, then left again and kept saying Yen. Um, I am your mama, not Jenn silly boy!! (Ok, I don't really think he said Jenn, but it was funny to hear!!)

I would love to record him "saying" these words, however the minute the camera comes out he is all over me and the camera.  Silly child.

*To be clear, I don't know if we consider this talking but just a lot of babbling!!  But it is fun to hear.

(Henry will be 41 weeks tomorrow. Holy shit, my child is growing up so fast!!)

No my son, it doesn’t bother me at all that you like to rollover and sleep on your stomach while also burying your face into the side of the crib!!  That is why we got the breathable bumper.

Wordless Wednesday - Camera Phone Pics!

Wordless Wednesday, my ass.  Really.....do you know me to be wordless!!


So I REALLY want to post pictures of Henry as he has grown SO MUCH!  However, our motherboard on our computer died and we had to get a new computer and haven't transferred all our pictures to the new computer yet.  I hope to do that this weekend and post some adorable new pictures of our little man.  In the meantime, enjoy some camera phone pictures!!

 "What the hell mom, I just woke up and you are already taking pictures!"

After being startled all Henry could say was "I think I shit my pants."

Who looks like a grumpy, 80 year old Russian man?!  Uh, our son!!

Henry is in a quandary......doesn't know if he should buy or sell.  It gives him a really headache.

"I know you like Halloween and think it is cute to dress a helpless little baby up.  But really, vertical orange stripes on the top and on my feet.  Tim Gunn would not approve."

Wordless Wednesday - Cat Picture Edition!

The thing is, I love our cats. I mean I may be borderline crazy cat lady! (Like I would totally put a picture of all of our cats on a sweatshirt and wear it IN the house - see borderline crazy cat lady.)  So I am always snapping cell phone pictures of my favorite little feline friends!!


It took him about 15 minutes to finally get this on his head. And then he just sat there.

"Is this a good look for me?"

"Soooo, I don't really know what to do now."

"TA DAH!!!"

I was cleaning out our pots and pans cabinet and looked away for 2 seconds and Belle and Charlie found their way into the cabinet.  It is hard to take them out because they want right back in, so they played in there for 15 minutes until they got bored.  I am such a cool mama to the kitties :)

"I got the top shelf!!!"

"This is the coolest thing EVER!"

I woke up to find the two of them laying at the foot of the bed "looking" at each other while they slept.

"Don't you try anything funny...I am watching you!"

"I can totally hold this pose longer than you!"

After we put together the stroller.

"I am ready...lets go!!!"

*I don't know if Wordless Wednesday will ever really be totally wordless.  It is just not my thang.

{Almost} Wordless Wednesday

Charlie was on the back of our couch cleaning himself  to take a nap and when I looked at him and said something to him he stopped and struck this "pose".  He was like this for about 10 minutes, his paw just resting there. I was cracking up the entire time!  I am sure I have given him a complex now.

"What are you looking at?  How about a little privacy please?!"

"What?! I am just resting my paw here.  I am not doing anything!"

(Nearly) Wordless Wednesday / Finding the Happy

At home, eating grilled cheese and homemade chicken noodle soup with my family. 

Happiness = FOUND.
