Wordless Wednesday - Cat Picture Edition!

The thing is, I love our cats. I mean I may be borderline crazy cat lady! (Like I would totally put a picture of all of our cats on a sweatshirt and wear it IN the house - see borderline crazy cat lady.)  So I am always snapping cell phone pictures of my favorite little feline friends!!

It took him about 15 minutes to finally get this on his head. And then he just sat there.
"Is this a good look for me?"
"Soooo, I don't really know what to do now."
"TA DAH!!!"

I was cleaning out our pots and pans cabinet and looked away for 2 seconds and Belle and Charlie found their way into the cabinet.  It is hard to take them out because they want right back in, so they played in there for 15 minutes until they got bored.  I am such a cool mama to the kitties :)
"I got the top shelf!!!"
"This is the coolest thing EVER!"

I woke up to find the two of them laying at the foot of the bed "looking" at each other while they slept.
"Don't you try anything funny...I am watching you!"
"I can totally hold this pose longer than you!"

After we put together the stroller.
"I am ready...lets go!!!"

*I don't know if Wordless Wednesday will ever really be totally wordless.  It is just not my thang.

{Almost} Wordless Wednesday

Charlie was on the back of our couch cleaning himself  to take a nap and when I looked at him and said something to him he stopped and struck this "pose".  He was like this for about 10 minutes, his paw just resting there. I was cracking up the entire time!  I am sure I have given him a complex now.

"What are you looking at?  How about a little privacy please?!"

"What?! I am just resting my paw here.  I am not doing anything!"

Finding The Happy - Christmas Edition!

As I pull myself out of this Christmas Funk, I thought it would be good to post pictures of where I am finding the happy.

Sunday, I definitely found the happy and it was in baking and finally getting our tree up. We listened to Christmas music all day and stayed in our PJ's and it felt just like Christmas in our house!  I looooved it!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough....mmmmm

BEST kitchen purchase EVER after the Kitchen Aid.
A medium scoop is perfect for making all these cookies quickly and uniformly.

Look how perfect those cookies are!

Our "cooling" Station. It was also the testing station as warm cookies are the best!

Packaged Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Packaged Snickerdoodles.

Peanut Butter Blossoms. Terry had the great idea to mix red and green sugar with the regular sugar!
So festive.

Fudge 1 - Double Chocolate fudge with slivered almonds.

Fudge 2 - Traditional Fantasy Fudge

Terry & K. putting up the tree!

The tree!!  Loves this tree. And why is the picture blurry? Oh, that is because it is spinning!
Yep, our tree spins.....and we are that awesome.

Another picture without the lights.

I love that ALL 3 cats (except Belle as she ate too much Sunday and was feeling bloating and didn't want her picture taken....I get it!) just lay by the tree and watch it spin.  SO cute.

Here is Charlie watching the tree...

Here is Sebastian watching the tree.....

And here is Charlie just laying under the tree....which again all 3 cats love to do.

Yep, I am finding the Happy.

(Cookies left to bake: Frosted cutouts, Gingerbread men & ladies, Chocolate crinkles, 2 kinds of biscotti, Pecan Tassies, Chocolate covered pretzels, Butter & Jam thumbprints, shortbread. YAY!)

Finding The Happy

These little furry felines make me SO happy.

Just look at them; all lined up and eating their dinner in an orderly fashion.  They are so well behaved.  After this they washed their dishes, did a load of laundry, and quietly laid in the living room not making a sound.See, here is Belle putting the dishes away for me. So helpful! (Yes, we washed the dishes again!)

“Where does this bowl go?!  Back here?! Look how helpful I am!”
(Yes Belle….so helpful.)

They each have their own fun personality and they make me smile every day.  There is nothing nicer than coming home after work to 3 cats sitting by the door, anxiously waiting to run amuck in the house and show off for me because they have been asleep all day.

I promise you, our cats will make people who think they do not like cats love them…..or at least love ours!

Here is my favorite picture this past week. This is Charlie chilling in our sink.

"What!  You weren’t planning on using this, were you?  Yeah, I didn’t think so.
Now please excuse me, I am napping here."

What Happens When I Have Too Much Time On My Hands & Left Alone With A Computer.....

So Monday night I was up till 11:30p.m. messing around on the computer and in my "free time" I came up with my own NaBloPoMo Badges for my Blog. Yeah, I know I am awesome. Can't help it.

Now I was going to post a political post today, but because it is not ready to post and because it is Wednesday and Wednesday's suck - I thought we would go with something a bit lighter....so instead you get to view these lovely creations today as well as additional comments related to the pics and unrelated to this Nablo thing.

Enjoy!

(And for the record, these were already pictures I had taken months ago...nothing is new and/or posed, even if they look posed.  These are just our cats! I love them.)

Sebastian (aka Old Man, Big Buddy, Buddy Cat)
"Technology makes me happy & relaxes me!
Now only if I had some fuck'n thumbs to turn this shit on."

Belle (aka Miss Mouse, Hells Belles)
"Oh what, you wanted to use this?!
Yeah, I don't care.
You can wake me if you want....but I am too darn cute and I know you won't.
Now scram!"
"

Charlie (aka Chuck Chuck, Monkey, Charlie Bucket)
"Don't look at the computer look at me!
Do you see ME?
Ignore that, LOOK AT ME!
Now pet me, pet me, PET ME already!"
