I Don't Want To Look But I Can't Seem To Look Away!

I am sorry to scare you!!

I know the main story is and should be whether this mom let her little girl go in a tanning bed. (CLICK HERE for the full story) If she did, she should totally be punished.  But lets just go with the fact that the courts are taking care of the legal stuff and talk about the big bronzed elephant in the room that the news people don't seem to be talking about!!

LADY, WTF HAPPENED TO YOUR SKIN?!?!?!

That is crazy.  At first I thought it was a joke....but alas, it is not.

This women should scare EVERYONE away from tanning and should be the poster women for why tanning is bad.  Granted, most people don't get this bad, but holy crap!

I can't even look at her without wondering the following:

(1) Does she thinks this is attractive?

(2) What does her skin feels like?

(3) How often does one have to tan to get that natural looking tan?

(4) Is she being tested for skin cancer?

WOW.

I mean....WOW.

I Give Them Props For Their Resourcefulness.

So yesterday while mom, K & I were driving around town during our shopping extravaganza we noticed something that seemed a bit odd and most definitely unsafe.

Please see the truck below. It was in front of us on the highway as we go about 65 mph. On this truck there is a hodge-podge of random and loose items, being "secured" by a few random and obviously strategically placed straps (Don't worry I did not take the picture. My trusty navigator, aka my mom, took the picture.)



Take a closer look (click to enlarge). You can see there is a ladder hanging on the left, a chair on the top, a moving cart on the side, shelves on the right, and random items in the middle. All of this is being held in by flat cardboard boxes on the outside and blankets and tarps.


Yep, this seems so unsafe but had the three of us cracking up because it was just completely ridiculous! But here is the biggest question: How do you think they got those items to stay there in the first place so they could "strap" everything in?! I think they had to have 20 people hold the stuff up while someone wrapped around the two straps holding everything in place.



Unsafe = yes, but you have to give them some mad props for their resourcefulness.

What You DON'T Want to See at your Local Grocers

T & I were standing in line at Subway at Walmart when we saw something very, um, interesting.

This lady, who was most likely in her late 50's and about 40-50 pounds overweight came into walmart in nothing more then a too tight tankini. Yep, she was just wearing flip-flops and her swimsuit. No shorts, no cover up, no modesty...NOTHING other then a flipp'n tankini.

First thing I said....GROSS (in Napoleon Dynamite's voice of course)


Swimsuits with no cover-ups: An inappropriate “outfit” for anyone to wear to stores since, forever!


Yep, only at Walmart.

Really?!?! Come on, Really?!

I just saw this on MSNBC.

The newest Spa trend for the people who have too much money is that you can pay to have little tiny carp nibble your calloused feet during a particular pedicure.

I really don't even know what to say. I guess I can go get a poop facial and then get my feet nibbled on by tiny little fish. Yep, that seems like a relaxing trip to the spa.
