Say What You Mean, Please

We are ordering lunch at work on Monday and so we got a menu for a local Chinese restaurant to pick out what we wanted. As I was going through it I came across Chicken Subgum. I have never heard of this before so I did what many of us do in this high tech information age, I googled it on that interweb thingy. I came to find out that Chicken Subgum (or also made with Pork, beef or shrimp) simply means “with vegetables”. So Chicken Subgum (which sounds a little weird and a bit gross) is basically just chicken with vegetables which is actually really good. Who knew?!

And as I learned something new today, I thought I would share with all of you.

You are welcome.

  1. I was always afraid to ask. Thanks for the info! (Thought maybe it was Mandarin for cat)

  2. I love this ! Yummy!!

  3. Thank you! Subgum does sound gross, but I always get chicken with vegetables.
