Reason # 342 why I love T. His dry but hilarious sense of humor.


Many times I will ask Terry something and I will get a ridiculous response. So when I asked him a simple question today this is what he said:

My text to Terry: Did you take in the mortgage payment today?

Terry’s Response back: No I traded it for some Magic Beans.


Also, here is his quote of the day:

He seriously cracks me up!

Terry’s Random Question of The Day:

A phone call from Terry.

Terry: “Jenn, Question….is it OK to wear a Popeye Backpack when you are a grown man?”

Me: “Is this question based on an observation, or would YOU like a Popeye backpack for school?”

Terry: “Yeah Jenn, I want to look like a complete idiot by wearing a childs vinyl Popeye backpack through Downtown BG so people, like myself, can laugh at how ridiculous I look.”

Me: “I think you answered your own question.”

Terry-ism

Terry said this to K & I this past weekend.
....

T: "Why do people use LOL when they text or read something funny online? Are they really laughing out loud every time there is something funny they read? If they are that is fine, use LOL but lets say they are sitting at their desk and type LOL to someone, I am sure they are not sitting there just laughing out loud at a text.”

He then proceeds to laugh out loud in this obnoxiously loud laugh while pretending to have just read something funny.

T: “I like to say LQTMS. Which is laughing quietly to my self. Seems more appropriate most times.”

Did You Know....

Leave it to Terry to be full of crazy amounts of random knowledge.

For instance, we were watching TV when out of no where Terry tells me the following piece of information:

T: "Did you know that a Rhinoceros's horn is not bone?"
M: "No, what is it then?"
T: "Just a large ingrown hair. Well it is really just the same material that makes up hair."
M: Just laughing at the randomness
T: "Yeah, fish scales are made of the same stuff. Alot of animals have stuff made out of Keratin."

So I googled and yes he is right (like flipp'n always).

The horns of a rhinoceros are made of keratin, the same type of protein that makes up hair and fingernails.

I just felt I should not be the only person who hears this random piece of information today.

The Ying to My Yang #124

In this edition of “The Ying to my Yang” I would like to talk about how Terry and I are different when it comes to taking a day off for our birthday.

Terry’s Day Off:
- Wake up late
- Do laundry
- Vacuum the downstairs
- Straighten up the living room
- Clean the kitchen
- Clean out the refrigerator
- Take out the trash
- Put up our Halloween decorations
- Buy steak and grill it

Jenn’s Day Off:
- Wake up late
- Go to the Spa and get a facial
- Lay on the couch and watch a movie
- Go OUT to dinner

Hmmmmm, it seems to me someone doesn’t have their priorities straight when it comes to taking a day off…..and it is not me. Oh well – I came home to a clean house and a great meal! T. should take more days off to “celebrate” his birthday!
