Snapple "Real Facts"

Snapple "Real Fact" #175

In 1634, tulip bulbs were a form of currency in Holland.

I think even today tulip bulbs probably have a stronger value then our dollar currently does. ;)

  1. Ohhh... how many lilies can I get for a tulip? What's the exchange rate?

  2. Can we go back to this? :-)

In the Eastern countries, spices and teas were also once used as currency.

  3. one day we may have to when our natural resources become more limited & valuable then money.

SP, it is all based on size and color ;)
